I was born in Cairo, Egypt and migrated to USA in the early 1990s. Going through medical school then being a cardiologist cultivated my love to learn and heightened my senses to observe and look for details. Pairing my background (geography and career) with my travels lead to the born of my photography path.

Capturing the light is the technical definition of photography, however, capturing the emotion provoked by a scene of a subject and deliver it in an image is the essence of great photography. Using photographic gear and filters are my favorite tools to help my convey the emotion I felt or going for.

The sky is an important subject, background, or both in my recent photography. Nothing catches the eye more than a good milky way or Supercell in the image.
